Safe, respectful Quran classes
Most of our students are children, and learning the Book of Allah deserves respect. These are the standards everyone keeps in every class.
Our teachers
- Every teacher is vetted and must accept this policy before teaching any student.
- Families can choose a male or female teacher.
- Teachers join on time, prepared, dressed modestly, in a quiet space with the camera on.
- They are patient and kind, correct mistakes gently, and record attendance and progress after every class.
- Teachers contact students only through the academy portal and the class link, never through private phone numbers or social media.
In every class
- Classes happen only in the academy's Zoom or Google Meet rooms, at scheduled times.
- We recommend a parent is nearby during class, especially for young children.
- Classes are not recorded or photographed without a parent's written consent.
Our students and parents
- Students join on time with wudu, dressed modestly, in a quiet place with the camera on.
- Keep the Mushaf or Qaida ready, treat it with respect, and listen attentively.
- Practise between classes, complete homework, and speak respectfully to your teacher.
- Parents help children join on time and tell us in advance if a class must be missed.
If something feels wrong
- Parents and students can raise a concern at any time through the portal's Complaints page, or by email.
- Every concern is taken seriously, handled by the principal in confidence, and acted on without delay.
- Where a child may be at risk, we involve the appropriate authorities.
